Bakson Common cold and cough Kit

Bakson’s B22 Drops consist of the following Ingredients:

Arsenicum album- Thin, watery, excoriating discharge. Nose feels stopped up. Sneezing without relief. Hay fever. Air passages constricted from allergies. Nose cold descends to chest.

Calcarea carbonica- Stoppage of nose, also with fetid, yellow discharge. Catarrhal symptoms with hunger. Takes cold with everyday change of weather.

Hydrastis canadensis- Thick, tenacious secretion from posterior nares to throat. Watery, excoriating discharge, smarting and rawness. Sinus headache.

Kalium bichromicum- Discharge thick, ropy, greenish-yellow. Tough, elastic plugs from nose.Inflammation extends to frontal sinuses, with distress and fullness at root of nose. Loss of smell.

Pulsatilla nigricans- Chronic bland yellow discharge. Coryza, better going out in the open air.

Advice: Complementary Remedies:

In or after Influenza, additional use of B1 is recommended.

Use of Bakson Aller Aid tablet alternatively with B22 is often recommended.

B33 in cough and B40 in Pleurisy and B29 in Intercostal Neuralgia is recommended.

B51 in hoarseness and catarrh of the larynx or Bakson Throat Aid Tablets.

Action of Ingredients:

Belladonna-

Origin: Derived from the plant Atropa belladonna (deadly nightshade).

Mechanism of Action: Belladonna acts as an antitussive (cough suppressant) and helps alleviate tickling, short, dry cough, particularly worse at night. It is also effective for barking cough and whooping cough, often accompanied by stomach pain before the attack, and in some cases

Quercetin belongs to a group of plant pigments called flavonoids and imparts color to many fruits, flowers and vegetables. It has unique biological properties that may improve mental/physical performance and reduce infection risk. These properties form the basis for potential benefits to overall health and disease resistance, including anti-inflammatory, anti allergic, antiviral, antioxidant and psychostimulant activities. It’s one of the most abundant antioxidants in the diet. Antioxidants are compounds that can bind to and neutralize free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules that may cause cellular damage when their levels become too high. Damage caused by free radicals has been linked to numerous chronic conditions.

Source of Quercetin

Quercetin, a plant pigment is a potent antioxidant flavonoid and more specifically a flavonol, found mostly in onions, grapes, berries, cherries, broccoli, and citrus fruits.

It plays a role in cell division, cell growth, wound healing and the breakdown of carbohydrates. It is necessary for visual pigments; normal taste perception; sperm production; fetal development; and behavior and learning performance. Zinc is also needed for the senses of smell and taste. During pregnancy, infancy, and childhood the body needs zinc to grow and develop properly. Zinc also enhances the action of insulin.

Sinusitis is a common problem caused by acute or chronic inflammation of the Paranasal Sinuses. It presents with malaise, mild fever, headache, pain behind the eyes and nasal discharge. The area of the face over the inflamed sinus may even appear swollen in some cases.

Composition: Arsenicum album 6x, Calcarea carbonica 8x, Hydrastis canadensis 3x, Kalium bichromicum 4x, Pulsatilla nigricans 3x.

Indications: Bakson’s B22 Drops help to relieve thick/watery discharge from nose, recurrent sneezing, stuffy nose, headache especially in Sinusitis. B22 drops help cure inflammation of the nasal passages, presentation of Nasal polyps, Adenoiditis in children and consequent inability of olfaction.

Dosage: Take 10 drops in luke warm water 3 times a day. In acute cases take10-15 drops in luke warm water, 2 hourly, 6 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.
