Common Name: Red acarus of the fly, Trombidium muscae domesticae

Causes & Symptoms for Trombidium

• Worse by eating or drinking is a keynote of this remedy.
• Diarrhoea intestinal pains coming on when the patient eat or drinks.
• Congestion of the liver, with urgent, loose, stools on rising.
• Much pain before and after stool, stool only after eating

Mind and Head

Inability to keep quiet. Inability to collect ideas, absence of ideas, loss of memory.

Dizziness, on every attempt to rise from bed, head heavy, sometimes sharp pains in temples.

Eyes, ear, nose

Shooting in ears in afternoon, Lachrymation from eyes in open air, Itching in ears after rising.

Fluent coryza in open air and on eating, Dryness of nose in evening, with scabs indicates Trombidium

Mouth and Throat

Tongue coated white. Throat sore on right side.

Stomach and abdomen

Eructations after meals; tasting of ingesta, Griping pain on rising.

Heavy pain in abdomen in forenoon, worse drinking cold water and eating dinner indicates Trombidium.

Stool and Anus

Loose stools on rising from bed, during stool, sharp pain in left side, shooting downward before stool

Burning in anus, diarrhoea, with straining and expulsion of flatus.

Stitches upward along left side of anus after stool indicates Trombidium.

Extremities

Shooting pains in different joints during day, heaviness indicates Trombidium

Skin

Itching in spots on chin.

Generalities

Felt better in evening, better in open air. Pimples on cheeks.

Side effects of Trombidium

There are no such side effects. But every medicine should be taken following the rules as given.

It is safe to take the medicine even if you are on other mode of medication like allopathy medicines, ayurvedic etc.

Dosage and rules while taking Trombidium

Take 5 drops in half cup of water three times a day.

You can also medicate the globules and take 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.

Precautions while taking Trombidium

Always keep a gap of 15 minutes before or after meals when you take medicine.

If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a homeopathic practitioner before use.

Avoid eating tobacco or drinking alcohol during the course of medication.
